All Safe Passage afternoon students, grades first through fifth, participate in a weekly Art and Values class. These activities follow the UNESCO Peace Program and teach universal values through art, song and play. Students are exposed to different forms of expression and learn to use their creativity to express their opinions and ideas.
Classes reinforce teamwork, collaboration, and respect towards their peers, volunteers, and teachers. These classes use Art, Music, and Theater as meduims to address universal values and how they relate to our students lives.
