The month of June is also the month of collaboration, so in the Guarderia art classes activities focused on group projects. The slideshow shows the four year olds during two of the afternoon class’ activities. The first activity was a game where the kids had to try to put as many pieces of dress-up clothes on one person as fast as possible; the result was semi chaos, but everyone had fun. The second activity was part one of a two week project- using pieces of cleaned trash (egg cartons, bags, newspaper etc.), the kids will, as a group, create a monster. There were only four bottles of glue and ten pencils put out to use to create “Trash Monster,” so the kids were forced to work together in order to create: by the end of the class they were working calmly and effectively as a team.
