On July 23, 2011 the Creative Expression program launched our first ever community arts fair in the park Nuevo Amanecer.   Safe Passage music students preformed their own orginial songs with the guidance of our talented music team volunteers.  The community came out to paint shoes with positive messages for their community and the future, older students led games and activities for younger kids from the neighborhood, local graffiti artists helped students painted murals with positive messages and Safe Passage volunteers and staff integrated with families from the community.  To hear more about the event check out the blog post about the Values Fair and our photo album for more photos of the event!
