Vision and Voices Workshop

Carlyn Wright-Eakes returned for four saturdays during the month of April to lead a self-reflection workshop using many different art based techniques, including grafitti.  This workshop is part of a longer series that Carlyn has been leading in Chile, Nicaragua, and different parts of Guatemala.  Vision and Voices explores issues of identity and culture through self-portraits.  The workshop included writing, painting, collaging, charcoal, and pastels.  The final product was a beautiful mural painted in the community that represented five individual students, their work, and how they view themselves.
